We all also know that that is much easier said than done, and that more often than not, your roommates don't really allow you to happily share a roof with them.

If we're being honest, the living situation in the story below got us really confused. This family - Mom, Dad, and their three children - is sharing a house with a single mom and her 8-year-old son. For a few months, they all managed to get along, and even went out together to different outings. But the situation got messy when the family decided to go on a road trip, and the single mom demanded they take her son along. 

Yep, you read that right. She wants her two roommates, whom she has only known for a few months, to take her son on a road trip while she stays behind…

If she continues to make things hostile, start looking for a place to live. This is only going to get worse, and things will get more hostile. So start looking and have an exit plan. This whole situation is very toxic, and not safe for your family.
